G'Day Everyone,
My apologies for being so late with this one.
As I am sure you will have guessed August is now over which means our Batman/ Spider-Man challenge is over. I will leave the folder open for a couple more days for any last minute entries.
What this also means is that is now the start of Spring for us Southern Hemisphere folk and it also means we have another Challenge to kick of September.
This time we are doing...
Villains
The theme should be fairly self explanatory and I have decided that this will be another 2 month challenge.
I would love if all our members had a look at our Batman/ Spider-Man challenge folder and cast a vote for your favourite piece either with a comment here or drop me a note.
I have to say the submissions for this challenge were the best yet and I am most keen to see who polls the most votes.
Also we seem to keep picking up more and more members with our humble little group here getting close to the 750 mark which I think is pretty cool.
Lastly I will do another shout out for anyone who is interested in stepping up to be a Co-Founder or Contributor for Heroes Corner. I am looking for people who want to be fairly active here by keeping galleries up to date, writing interesting blogs and helping with the picking of our Monthly Challenges and moderating votes for the winning submissions.
With working full time and a new baby my free time to do all I would like to do here is becoming more and more limited and it would be nice to have a helping hand or two as I would love to see this group continue to grow and be successful.
If you are interested or have any suggestions again just leave a comment or send me a note.

I hope we are all doing well?
Well fellow heroes I think it has finally got to the point where running this group by myself has become more work that I can manage at the moment.
After about two years of being the Founder I think it is time for me to hand over the reins.
At the moment I work 60-70 hours a week, I have a young family plus all the other responsibilities that come with being an adult human meat sack and unfortunately right now various stresses are starting to affect my health, something has to give.
So I have made the decision I will probably be doing less art (but I’ll still be drawing), pull back from

Sports Heroes
We have had a couple of submissions already which are most excellent (check them out) but I want to see a lot more!!
Since it is nearly the end of the month already (geez time flies) I am going to extend the deadline until the end of next month (August).
I’m hoping to get something submitted for this myself soon and I sure hope you guys get on board as well.
I am also taking suggestions for the next challenge so… “have at thee”

Heroes Corner - July Challenge

I hope we are feeling fantastic.
Here in Australia Winter is well and truly setting in (where I live this is probably comparable to a UK Summer :XD:) and I hope our Northern neighbours are enjoying their Summer :)
Only a quick one this time around guys, as mentioned I am bringing back our monthly challenge and I am going to trial it over the next few months to see if we can’t get you all interested again, I would love to see all our great members get on board and try their hand at a challenge or two over the next few months.

Alright, so if anyone read the last group journal I was musing over starting our monthly challenge again which I had stopped due to lack of interest and the fact that my real life is getting in the way of being super active here.
I'm still as busy as ever but I thought... "Stuff it!" Let's give it another go and see if we can't get people keen on the Heroes Corner Monthly Challenge again.
We have a lot of members here now so I am hoping
