Jumping June - A Quick Update

I hope everyone is fantastic.

Just a quick update to anyone who might actually read these things

A New Challenger Appears
Alright, so if anyone read the last group journal I was musing over starting our monthly challenge again which I had stopped due to lack of interest and the fact that my real life is getting in the way of being super active here.

I'm still as busy as ever but I thought... "Stuff it!" Let's give it another go and see if we can't get people keen on the Heroes Corner Monthly Challenge again.

We have a lot of members here now so I am hoping that we can turn this place into a bit more of a community instead of a place to just chuck your art.

So I declare as of the start of July there will be a new challenge announced and I would love to see as many people jump on board and get involved. It's not a competition just something fun to do amongst ourselves with a particular theme. I hoping it might give me the motivation to draw something again and it might help others who need ideas or are in a bit of an art rut.

I am now throwing to you, the loyal members to hit me up with potential themes. All suggestions are accepted
If I don't get any then I will just pick one myself.

Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement journal in a few weeks.

Housekeeping... again
I hate harping on about this guys but it is really starting to grind my gears. Can we please (pretty please with a cherry on top even) submit art to the right folders?

I spend most of my time in this group resorting art into the right folders and it's getting a bit tedious.
I understand it is easier to just submit everything to the first folder in the drop down box but the Comic Females & Heroines folder is getting swamped with art that doesn't come close to this description.

I won't name and shame but amongst some random submissions there are a couple of submitters who are serial offenders.

I'm not going to whinge about this anymore, this is the last warning basically. I don't have the time to approve every submission for the group so I will be leaving the folders open to submit your art as you please but from now on if something is obviously submitted to the wrong folder I am just going to remove it from the group, no if's and not but's.

If you art is removed and you are unsure why then feel free to ask me, I'm a pretty reasonable guy. Otherwise you will always be welcome to submit it to the correct folder.

And lastly, I am still open to any members who may want to join in an Admin position. Just let me know if you are keen.
